Based in MIlford on Sea on Hampshire's Solent coast, engineeringwithlight is the UK's online shop dedicated to offering professional and retail customers the world's finest outside and garden lighting. The qualities we look for in our outdoor lights are high quality materials, design integrity, precision engineering, high performance, energy efficiency and durability.
We’ve chosen our international portfolio of garden lighting brands with great care. Hunza® (New Zealand), Norlys (Norway), LuxR (New Zealand), Elstead Lighting (UK) and Lutec (China) all engineer their exterior lights from the finest materials. They also demonstrate long-term commitment to their products with long warranty periods and replacement parts.
Within our five brand ranges you’ll find every conceivable outdoor light design option and a choice of beautiful finishes to complement your exterior surroundings – many of them robust enough to withstand the harsh environment of seaside locations. And you can take your pick from the latest energy efficient lighting technologies, including advanced LED solutions and metal halide.
We try very hard to make sure our customer service matches the high quality of our products. If you need any design or technical help, just call or email us – if our lines are busy, do leave a message because we really will call you back as quickly as we can. And should you ever experience a problem with our products or service, we’ll do everything we can to put things right.
Deliveries
We deliver to any destination in the UK. All deliveries are free of charge. Delivery is the next working day after despatch and is usually by courier to your door, so it needs to be signed for. Small items may be sent by Royal Mail.
In-stock Hunza and LuxR lights and accessories are usually despatched within 1 working day of receiving your order. For out-of-stock Hunza and LuxR items, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.
In-stock Norlys, Elstead and Lutec lights and accessories are typically despatched within 5 days. For out-of-stock Norlys items, please allow up to 6 weeks. For out-of-stock Elstead Lighting and Lutec items, we will suggest you consider an alternative unless a shipment of new stock is imminent.

Changing or cancelling your order
If you wish to change or cancel an order before it has been despatched, contact us without delay by email on info@engineeringwithlight.com, or by telephone on 01590 641335 between 9am and 5pm, Monday–Friday.
Returns and refunds
We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. However, should you wish to return anything bought from us, contact us by email on sales@engineeringwithlight.com, or by telephone on 01590 641335 between 9am and 5pm, Monday–Friday.
Returns should be made within a reasonable time (7 days), in the original packaging and in a fully re-saleable condition. Once the item is received by us, we'll refund its price or exchange the product. We will also refund any delivery charge if the goods were damaged or faulty.
If the product is not returned to us in a fully re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or to deduct up to 30% of the original selling price from the refund amount. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We will respect your privacy
We will treat all your personal information as confidential. Your details will only be used in the fulfilment of your order and we will never share them with anyone else. We may send you emails from time to time with Hunza, Norlys, LuxR, Elstead Lighting and Lutec product updates, but we will happily remove you from our mailing list upon request.
