Hunza® already has a wide range of powerful recessed inground garden uplighters using halogen, metal halide or mini white son lamps to create the output necessary to uplight larger trees, shrubs and buildings. Now it has added LED to these light sources with the new Inground 1-11/12 LED recessed inground uplighter.

The Hunza Inground 1-11/12 LED uses the 10 watt Eisenberg AR111 LED. This produces a light output of 700 lumens, equivalent to a standard 50 watt halogen lamp, so it combines energy efficiency with sufficient power to light a medium sized tree, large shrub or substantial architectural features. It also produces very little heat, making it perfect for public spaces or gardens where children might play at night. It's available in two light colours – Warm White and Cool White.

Like all Hunza's other Inground 1-11 fittings, the Inground 1-11/12 LED allows you to adjust the LED up to 20° from the vertical. It can also be walked on and driven over, and the 10mm thick Flush Fit lens prevents water pooling and debris build-up on the lens.

The Hunza Inground 1-11/12 LED is available with the flange in highest quality marine grade 316L stainless steel or solid bronze. Rated IP66, it comes with a 10 year manufacturer's warranty. It requires a 12 volt transformer and is not compatible with dimmers. The Eisenberg AR111 LED has a 50,000 hour lifespan, is covered by a one year manufacturer's warranty and is easily replaceable should it fail.
