'Moonlighting' is one of the gentlest garden lighting effects. By mounting a light high on a tree or building, you cast a soft light, reminiscent of moonlight, over a wide area. If there are branches below the fitting, you also get leaf shadows dancing in the evening breeze. And because one fitting is used to illuminate a large area of the garden, it's a very cost effective and energy efficient lighting effect.
Moonlighting is at its most attractive when you are unaware of the light source, so Hunza® has created the Glare Guard Moonlight. This is an extra deep glare guard that eliminates glare from virtually every angle. It was originally designed for the NPS Spot for use in conjunction with the Tree Mount Kit, but it can be fitted to any Hunza® downward facing MR16 spotlight – we say downward facing because otherwise the Glare Guard Moonlight will fill with water.
